Description
Alois Lageder's Alto Adige Pinot Grigio is born in vineyards located in Magrè and Salorno, in the heart of the Alto Adige DOC.
It is produced exclusively with Pinot Grigio grapes, harvested towards the end of September. After soft pressing, the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages on the lees for 4 months before being bottled.
This Pinot Grigio is characterized by a brilliant straw yellow color, with faint reddish reflections. The nose opens with heady aromas of peach and melon, enriched with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate it is full, elegant and persistent, with a fresh aftertaste and a pleasant acidity.
Perfect to accompany mushrooms, soups and broths, it is ideal in combination with fish, seafood and noble poultry dishes.
