Description

The Riesling Grand Cru Pfersigberg by Kuentz-Bas is part of the Trois Château line, which aims to underline the varietal expression of the Alsatian vines and enhances the complexity of the terroir of origin.

The grapes are gently pressed whole in order to extract the noblest aromatic substances from each berry. Fermentation takes place spontaneously for 6-8 months with indigenous yeasts without any human intervention. The wine ages on the fine lees and is then filtered and bottled.

Straw-yellow in colour, intense aromas of stone fruit with some mineral hints gradually unfold on the nose. In the mouth it is expressive and structured, showing all its elegance.

It excels in the company of grilled or smoked fish, but also seafood and sauerkraut.
