Alsace Grand Cru AOC Muscat Goldert 2017 Zind Humbrecht

The Muscat Goldert Grand Cru of Zind-Humbrecht is a rare pearl, coming from a small point in Alsace: the Grand Cru Goldert, located in the municipality of Gueberschwihr.

It consists of Muscat d'Alsace Petit Grains grapes, a very precious local gem. The vineyards are planted on limestone and clay soils. A very strict selection is carried out during the harvest, which must only take place when the grapes have fully matured phenolic. It is a with great potential for aging.

The color is straw yellow, very intense. It opens, on the nose, notes of grapefruit, litchies and apple, which fade into a citrus and floral finish. The taste is well balanced between its soft components and hardness. Structured and enveloping, it is remembered in a persistence of flowers and fruits.

Ideal to serve with fish or seafood dishes. To be combined with a rabbit tuna.
