Description

Willm's Riesling Reserve originates in the northwestern tip of France, in Alsace.

It comes from vineyards located between 200 and 400 meters above sea level, planted on very mineral soils with a very variable geological profile as they derive from the meeting of different formations during its long history. The strong temperature variations between day and night mark the aromatic finesse of the grapes and wine. The bunches are harvested by hand, maintaining the perfect integrity of the grapes. This is followed by a soft pressing and an alcoholic fermentation of the must inside steel containers. The refinement phase takes place in the same, remaining in contact with its fine lees for a period of about 2-3 months.

At sight it reveals a straw yellow color with greenish reflections. The perfume shows tones of white and yellow fruit, citrus and white flowers, placed on a markedly mineral background. The taste is surprising for its freshness and great balance, part of a well-present structure. Closes in a citrus finish.

Excellent if combined with a smoked salmon steak.
