Description

Alpi Retiche Bianco is produced with Nebbiolo grapes vinified in white, coming from the Valtellina Rhaetian Alps. The vineyards are located between 350 and 600 meters above sea level on slopes facing south-south-east. The soil is sandy-loam, shallow and loose in texture.

The harvest takes place between mid-September and late October. The Nebbiolo is delicately pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The wine is kept on the fine lees for a few months to increase the aromatic complexity and soften the taste.

It has a straw yellow color and golden reflections, a scent of green apple, lemon, toast and honey, and a dry and fresh flavor with a mineral aftertaste.

It is excellent as an aperitif and goes well with raw fish, fried fish and vegetables, white meats and fresh cheeses.
