Description

The Etna Rosso Contrada Arrigo from Neri is a refined and elegant red wine, produced in the Contrada Arrigo, on shallow volcanic soils with low skeletal presence. Made 100% with Nerello Mascalese, this wine comes from vineyards aged between 30 and 65 years, located at an altitude of 700 meters.

The vinification is done in a traditional red style, with manual punchdowns in open fermenters and a maceration of 8-10 days. The aging lasts 11 months in French oak barriques of second and third use, adding complexity and softness to the wine. The alcoholic fermentation is conducted with selected yeasts, preserving the distinctive notes of the grape variety.

With a ruby red color, it stands out for its elegant and complex bouquet, with hints of small red fruits and cherry. On the palate, it is enveloping, balanced, and pleasantly persistent, with soft and silky tannins.

Perfect with raw meat appetizers such as tartare, vegetable or meat first courses, grilled white or red meat second courses, and medium-aged cheeses.
