Description
The Cabernet Riserva Marchese di Villamarina di Sella & Mosca is a great red that combines the peculiarities given by the soil where the grapes are grown, characterized by a strong presence of ferrous clays, with its Mediterranean character.
The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes only ferment with long maceration in contact with the skins, then the wine matures in new French oak barrels for 18 months and undergoes another 12 months of bottle aging.
The color is deep ruby red with purple hues. It opens on a large and intense bouquet of hints of morello cherry and black currant, supported by notes that recall tobacco and spices. On the palate it is velvety and full-bodied, fresh and seductive, with a very long persistence.
Excellent in the company of important first courses and lamb, it goes well with aged cheeses and all mushroom-based recipes.
