Description
Albana is the white grape variety of Romagna par excellence, the first to obtain the DOCG in 1987. The label shows the azeruolo, of which Podere La Berta holds the oldest example, at the Torre di Oriolo.
Albana in purity, is the result of a fermentation in steel, with permanence in the same containers for 5-6 months. Refine for at least 30 days in the bottle.
Straw yellow with golden nuances, it offers a wide and articulated aromatic range to the nose, characterized by notes of honey, pear and tropical fruit, in particular mango, pineapple and banana. In the mouth it is a fresh wine with a strong personality, with a slightly vanilla finish that invites the next sip.
Excellent to accompany fish soup or white meats.
