Description
Gin Barrel Aged Blumenfeld is a South Tyrolean Gin aged in cask and made aiming at the perfect aromatic evolution of the ingredients used.
Rare and majestic Gin, it represents a true delicacy for enthusiasts and barmen who increasingly decide to characterize their creations with something unique. With the careful maceration of the most compact spices in the alcohol produced by the fermentation of cereals and the subsequent distillation, the Gin reaches 67 degrees of alcohol and then is left to age. Only afterwards is it diluted with water from mountain springs to reach 40 degrees. Great expertise in the choice of botanicals used, carefully evaluated in view of the expected ageing process and regarding the use of barrels already used for the Gewürztraminer Riserva grappa. An authentic and exciting Gin derived from juniper, coriander, orange peel, violet root, lavender and dried damask roses, all balanced in a harmonious fusion of scents and flavours.
Golden yellow in colour with some amber veins, it releases intense notes of juniper and coriander on the nose, with bitter and vibrant hints of orange peel that recall toasted notes of cinnamon and dried herbs. On the palate it is dense and refreshing with a return of floral hints of rose and great aromatic density for a filling, balanced and long sip.
Perfect for cocktails with a strong and recognizable touch, it can also be consumed straight to savour the majestic grandeur of mountain perfumes.
