Description
Pecorino Mazzarosa is produced in Casal Thaulero near Roseto degli Abruzzi.
The vines are grown with spurred cordon and the harvest takes place during the second or third week of October. After harvesting and pressing, the wine ferments in steel before refining for a short period of four or six months in the bottle before being marketed.
Beautiful straw yellow color with golden reflections, it expresses the typicality of the blend on the nose with notes of tropical fruit, floral hints of hawthorn and acacia. The minerality returns to the palate for a medium-bodied wine with an interesting aromatic fragrance.
Ideal with fish appetizers and fried foods, it goes well with first courses with white sauces and grilled mushrooms.
