Description
Zaccagnini's Pecorino Chronicon comes from the vineyards of the Pozzo district, in the territory between the first offshoots of the Majella and the Adriatic.
The soft pressing of the grapes with cryomaceration allows to extract only the flower must, the purest part of the grapes, and the aging in steel keeps the aromas intact.
Clear citrus and aromatic notes emerge on the nose, which are also found on the palate, harmonious and persistent.
This Pecorino is complex and intriguing, and is appreciated even more after a further year of rest in the bottle. An absolutely exciting white from native grapes as an aperitif, to be tried also with raw fish and dishes with molluscs and crustaceans.
