Single Malt Scotch Whisky 15 Years of Age French Oak Reserve The Glenlivet
Description
The Glenlivet's 15 Year Old French Oak Reserve is a Single Malt whiskey produced in the distillery of the same name founded by George Smith in 1824 in Speyside, an area in the north-east of Scotland from which some of the best whiskeys in the world come. This label, in particular, stands out for its maturation in French Limousin oak barrels, a technique used for the first time by The Glenlivet distillery.
Intense golden yellow in color, the 15 Years Old French Oak Reserve has a rich bouquet on the nose, with notes of dried apricot, almonds and dried fruit, accompanied by hints of butter. In the mouth it is warm and soft, with an average persistent finish that closes on vanilla notes.
Excellent to serve with ice or smooth, it can be served during the meal, in combination with game dishes.
