Description

BenRiach's 12 Years Old Three Cask Matured whiskey comes to light in Speyside, using smoked malted barley and Highland peat, following 19th century traditions. It is characterized by a maturation conducted in boubon, sherry and Marsala wine barrels.

It develops in the glass with an amber color. Sweet and rich hints appear on the nose, which revolve around sensations of smoked vanilla, orange and toasted almonds. In the mouth it is full-bodied and enveloping, with references to dark chocolate, fruit peel and brown sugar, with touches of smoked oak and cocoa in the finish.

Excellent to taste after dinner after having been diluted with a few drops of water.
