Description
Ardberg's Scotch Whiskey 10 Years Old is recognized as one of the most complex single malt whiskeys in the world, characterized by an unmistakable peaty and smoked character. Originally from the island of Islay, an area known for its proximity to pure water sources, sea fog and fertile soils for growing barley, the Ten is obtained by double distillation and aged for 10 years in American oak barrels which previously they contained bourbons.
Light golden in color, it develops an intense bouquet of smoky notes on the nose, from which it reveals hints of peat and lime, on a background of dark chocolate, mint and graphite. On the palate it expresses the natural sweetness of the malt, accompanied by aromas of ripe banana, currant and licorice, closing in a persistent finish of toasted almond with traces of barley and fresh pear.
Ideal to serve straight, with ice or as a cocktail base.
