Aglianico del Vulture DOC is an appellation that extends over many territories of many municipalities in the province of Potenza. It is an area located on the slopes of the ancient extinct volcano of Vulture. It is an area of ancient traditions in the field of viticulture, characterized by soils rich in minerals, deriving from the decay of volcanic rocks, and by a cool climate.
