Vino.com Customer Reviews Policy

The terms defined with a capital letter in this policy (the <b>Policy</b>) will have the meaning given to them in the <a href=content/condizioni-uso>general terms and conditions of sale of Vino.com</a>.

The Policy applies to all reviews published by Users holding an Account following the purchase of a product on the Site.

Vino.com allows registered Users to post reviews of products purchased from Vino.com through the Site. To this end, Users can assign ratings from one to five stars after completing the transaction for the purchase of a specific product.

To leave a review, you must be the owner of an Account and have purchased the product to be reviewed at least once. It is not possible to add textual comments.

The votes are recorded anonymously without the possibility of tracing the Users who expressed certain evaluations. The User who posted a review cannot cancel their previous evaluation but it is possible to assign a new vote to the same product during each browsing session.

Vino.com is committed to ensuring the authenticity of reviews posted by Users. In accordance with paragraph 5-bis of art. 22 of the Consumer Code, Vino.com has adopted reasonable and proportionate measures to verify that all reviews come from consumers who have actually purchased the reviewed product. These measures include the use of a code integrated into the Site's systems that verifies the ownership of an Account and the completion of the purchase transaction of the product to be reviewed before allowing the rating to be assigned.

The User is aware that, despite the authenticity of the origin of the reviews being verified as described above, the ratings given by other users on a particular product may not reflect their tastes or preferences.
