Disabling cookies

Chrome

• Run Chrome Browser
• Click on the Settings menu in Chrome which can be found on the browser’s toolbar next to the window where you insert the url in order to browse
• Select Settings
• Click on Privacy and Security followed by Site Settings
• Click on Cookies
• Select one of the options according to your preference

Chrome for Android (mobile devices)

• Open the Chrome App on your Android phone or tablet
• To the right of the address bar, tap More and then Settings
• Tap Site Settings and then Cookies
• Enable or disable the Cookie option

Chrome for iPhone and iPad (mobile devices)

• Open the Chrome App on your iPhone or iPad
• At the bottom on the right, tap Other and then Settings
• Tap Privacy and then Clear Browsing Data
• Select Cookies and website data. Deselect the other options
• Tap Clear Browsing Data and then Clear Browsing Data
• Tap Finish

Mozilla Firefox

• Go to the website whose cookies you wish to disable or where you do not wish your data to be stored
• If the menu Bar is enabled, click on Tools from the drop-down menu and select Information about this page
• Alternatively, click on the lock icon located on the left-hand side of the web address, click the right arrow in the drop-down menu on Information about this website and on the following screen click on the Further information button
• In the action panel of the Information about this page window, select Allow
• On the lines Set cookies or Save data in the permanent archive, untick Use pre-defined cookies
• Select the Block option

Internet Explorer

• Open the Internet Explorer browser
• Select the Tools button and then select Internet Options
• Select Privacy and, in Settings, select Advanced options, then select the option you prefer

Microsoft Edge

• Open the Microsoft Edge browser
• Click on the Settings button, then Other, and then select Settings
• Click on Cookies and site permissions and in the Cookies and data stored section select Manage and remove cookies and data from the website
• Move the slider depending on your preference for cookies

Safari

• Open the Safari browser
• Click on Safari, select Preferences
• Click on Privacy and choose the action you wish to carry out

Safari iOS (mobile devices)

• Tap Settings and then Safari
• Tap Block Cookies

• Open the Opera browser
• Go to Settings
• Click on Advanced options on the left bar, then on Privacy and security
• In Privacy and security, click on Site settings
• Click on Cookies and other site data
• At the top, enable or disable Allow websites to save and read cookie data
