Bottega hat eine vierhundertjährige Geschichte in der Welt von Wein und Grappa.

Das Unternehmen wurde 1977 von Aldo Bottega gegründet, der zusammen mit seiner Frau Rosina die Bottega Distillery in Pianzano di Godega (TV) gründete. Mit der gleichen Leidenschaft schlossen sich seine Söhne Barbara, Sandro und Stefano neben der Brennerei dem Weingut an . Kontinuierliche Forschung und absolute Aufmerksamkeit für Qualität machen Bottega zu einem Unternehmen, das Prosecco, Schaumweine, großartige Rotweine wie Amarone und Brunello, Grappas, Spirituosen sowie Obst- und Sahneliköre herstellt.

Im Jahr 2001 wurde Prosecco Gold eingeführt, das dank der weit verbreiteten Präsenz auf den Flughäfen und auf den Weinkarten einiger der bekanntesten Fluggesellschaften zu einer echten internationalen Legende geworden ist , so dass es die dritte Sektmarke für den Verkauf in der Welt geworden ist Travel Retail Channel nach Möet & Chandon und Veuve Clicquot.
